Amy Ross
Amy Ross leads the advanced space suit pressure garment development team at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Every day is an adventure as technologies and concepts for space suits to take humans beyond Earth are realized.
The scope of the work ranges from understanding human physiology to awareness of geologic exploration activities on planetary surfaces to knowledge of the fabrics that can keep humans safe and help them to be productive in hazardous environments. Currently her team is designing a suit of the future for demonstration on the International Space Station.
Léonie Watson
Léonie is Director of Developer Communications at The Paciello Group (TPG), and a member of the W3C Advisory Board. She is also co-chair of the W3C Web Platform Working Group, where she is responsible for many specifications including IndexedDB, Push API, Pointer Lock API, Gamepad API, ARIA in HTML, and the HTML Accessibility API Mappings (AAM).
Léonie contributes to projects like the Inclusive Design Principles, and co-organises the Inclusive Design 24 #ID24 conference with friends from TPG. She is a mentor for young people learning programming with Microsoft’s Project Torino, and was technical editor for Laura Kalbag’s book Accessibility For Everyone.
Oliver Reichenstein
Oliver Reichenstein is the founder and director of Information Architects, the Tokyo, Zurich, and Berlin-based design agency. iA’s trade is website design and consultancy along with concept work for media companies like Condé Nast, Red Bull, The Guardian, Asics, Die Zeit, and Wikipedia.
The company has also developed iA Writer, a pioneering minimalist text editor. With their work on the long-overdue reinvention of the word processor, their research in responsive web typography and their user experience design work for major newspapers iA is shaping the future of how we read and write.
